Kramer Vineyards Winemaker Dinner - Sunday, May 23rd!

Kramer Vineyards is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Tasting Room with a special winemaker dinner at Cuvée this month!   A sparkling greeting will be followed by a 4-course meal paired with wines selected personally by Keith and Trudy Kramer.

Cost: $85/person

Harvest Dinner:  Saturday, 24 October ~5:30-9:30pm

Chef Henry turns to his childhood home in Alsace for inspiration for this year's Harvest Dinner, with a menu featuring your entree choice of  Choucroute Garni or Boeuf Bourguignon!.   Join us for a four-course dinner, including a glass of Alsatian or local wine ~ all for $45/person!

Portland's own Justin Franzino will add to the evening, providing classic French cafe music with his accordion.

Art Harvest:  Oct 2-3-4 and Oct 9-10-11:

Two weekends showcasing some of the best art in the Valley, from oils and acrylics to pastels and watercolor to books and fabics to jewellry and glass


Yamhill-Carlton District AVA Tasting in Portland:

 

Held at the stylish and dynamic Gerding Theater at the Portland Armory - over thirty Y-C AVA wineries poured selections from estate vineyards and other sites within the AVA; Cuvée was delighted to participate in this event showcasing the 'taste of the place!'    Over 500 attendees agreed as well.

Carlton's Walk in the Park

Even though the weather was quite warm, we had a terrific turnout for Carlton's favorite summer event of art, music, food and wine.     We're happy to be part of an event that has such a positive impact on the Yamhill and Carlton communities.

 

To the left, Chef Henry lays down a solid rhythm and harmonic structure on the pizza paddle to entertain friends between orders of his delicious Tarte Flambée!

Pre-IPNC Dinner featuring ArborBrook Wines!
The IPNC is the crown jewel of annual wine events in Oregon, with a three day focus on Pinot Noir, including wine-tasting with producers from around the globe, seminars, fantastic lunches and dinners.   We kicked off the event with a delightful dinner with ArborBrook wines, and the sparkling company of Dave and Mary Hansen!


Bastille Day Celebration:   Saturday 07/11 - Sunday 07/12
 
It's Fête Nationale time - plan on storming Carlton for a delicious and festive dinner to celebrate France's favorite national holiday!  
 
Dinner includes your choice of Bouillabaisse or Cassoulet as an entree, along with a la carte appetizer and dessert - and a glass of sparkling wine to begin your dinner.    Both evenings will feature classic musical accompaniment provided by Portland's own Justin Franzino and his accordian!

Ghost Hill Cellars Winemaker Dinner, plus a selection of guest wines!

Saturday, May 16th:  Mike & Drenda Bayliss joined us for dinner to release their 2007 Pinot Noir, along with a four-course meal paired with five wines (including the 92-pt 2006 Pinot Noir and the newly-released 2007 Pinot Noir).  Guest wines to include the 2004 Brut Rose from Soter Vineyards, the 2008 Melon from De Ponte Cellars and the 2006 Late Harvest Pinot Gris from WillaKenzie.


Yamhill-Carlton AVA Tasting:
What a terrific opportunity to Taste the Place - over twenty wineries poured wines sourced from Y-C AVA vineyards, alongside local restaurants' (including Cuvee) pairings.

SIP - McMinnville Wine & Food Classic
Now in its 16th year, Sip continues to be a highlight of the Spring season in the Valley, with a fantastic selection of the area's best food and wine producers. along with wonderful art and music.
 
Chef Henry spent Sunday afternoon in the Food Court with a demonstration on making his classic Mousse au Chocolat!

ArborBrook and Cuvée - très romantique!

Dave and Mary Hansen of ArborBrook joined us for a lovely and romantic evening, pouring current and vintage releases, alongside a delicious dinner created especially for the evening that featured:  
Onion Tart with a Pinot Noir Glaze, Vegetable Soup with Cream,  Beef Tenderloin with Roasted Potatoes & Seasonal Vegetables,  Mixed Greens with House-Made Vinaigrette, Cheese Course and Dessert

Walk in the Park:  02 + 03 August 2008

What a terrific event!   The weather was perfect, thousands of people enjoyed the art and music that filled Wennerberg Park - and Cuvée happily provided both sweet and savory crêpes to attendees.    Proceeds from this event benefit local civic and social services in the Carlton and Yamhill communities - many thanks to all who attended, and to those who visited our booth in the Food Court!


Bastille Day Celebration:  12 + 13 July 2008

Friends stormed Carlton and joined us for a wonderful evening in the wine country to celebrate the Fête Nationale.   Most took advantage of the dinner special which featured a glass of French sparkling wine to start the evening, and a choice of Bouillabaisse or Cassoulet for dinner.   And Portland’s own Justin Franzino (and his accordian!) provided the perfect café  touch  of musical accompaniment.
